Practice. Do I have Time?

Postby rackrunner34 on Thu Jul 03, 2008 5:43 pm

I am a full time college student, and it is really hard to stay on top of my game, and books, and track. Sometimes its hard to make it through my classes let alone even think about shooting pool. Are there any suggestions on how many times a week I should be racking the balls up?

the human body only needs 3 hours a sleep a night, so consider that....or you could give up track.

It might be a little tuff to pay for school then but I like both ideas.

I don't know your schedule exactly but all i can suggest is that you allot at least an hour a day to go to the pool hall. You can do some practice drills if you're playing alone just to keep your game up.
tsk tsk tsk....

You can squeeze an hour of playing time to your daily schedule (weekdays) to keep your game up. You can try and play with someone or you could just practice some shots. With that said, be sure to take full advantage of your weekends. I'm guessing you can play a lot longer during saturdays and sundays.

It was a good way to practice and play with a higher skill level in order to push yourself to the limits. Besides they will correct and check your ways of playing...

What shark said is true. As a student, you feel like you're so busy and you don't have free time, etc.

When you start working or building a career, you'll find out what busy means.

It's all about time management.
